Hardee Help Center's Drive Out Hunger Campaign places the power to make a meaningful difference in the fight to end hunger and avoid homelessness directly with our Campaign Sponsors, and in your hands.
The efforts of everyone involved make a difference in the amount and variety of foods and services we are able to provide to families in need.
Anyone can host a food drive.
Each drive can be custom-made to fit your needs and abilities, whether it is hosted by you, your family, a large corporation or small church group. You set the goal and the duration. You provide the location and imagination.
The best place to start is to register your drive by clicking on “Start a Drive."
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign my organization/group up to host a Drive Out Hunger Food Drive?
Click on Start a Drive above. Once we receive your registration, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
Do you have food or money collection containers to use? Where can I get them?
Yes, we have both money and food collection containers. However, we have limited supplies. If you are hosting a large drive and are in need of multiple containers, we can discuss the best way to arrange this. You are also welcome to use your own food donation containers and print off a Collection Flyer and attach to your container.
What else does Hardee Help Center provide for my drive?
Additional basic materials for coordinating a drive, and hunger awareness material are found below.

Collection Container - A container with a wrap can be signed out and borrowed for the purpose of collecting food donations for Hardee Help Center's Drive Out Hunger campaign.
Yard Signs - A yard sign can be signed out and borrowed for the purpose of promoting your food drive.
Activities Calendar - The Activities Calendar is an interactive way to help raise awareness and money to help those in need in our community. This project provides 30 days worth of small awareness-raising activities.

A Place at the Table (Video Trailer) - "A Place at the Table tells the powerful stories of three such Americans, who maintain their dignity even as they struggle just to eat. In a riveting journey that will change forever how you think about the hungry..."

Map the Meal Gap - Food insecurity exists in every county and congressional district in the country. But not everyone struggling with hunger qualifies for federal nutrition assistance. Learn more about local food insecurity and the food banks in your community by exploring data from Feeding America’s annual Map the Meal Gap project.
Color and Share - Download and print these coloring sheets for your kids to color and share. They can be shared on your fridge, in your kid’s class or share on social media to raise awareness for the 1 in 5 kids struggling with hunger.
Talking Points - (Children and Elderly)Good nutrition, particularly in the first three years of life, is important for establishing a good foundation that has implications for a child’s future physical and mental health, academic achievement, and economic productivity. Unfortunately, food insecurity is an obstacle that threatens that critical foundation. Use these talking points to help facilitate discussion.
What should I do with my food and money donations when my drive is done?
Food and monetary donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is highly recommended to schedule a time to drop-off to insure a staff member will be available to direct and possibly assist with unloading the donations.
What are the most needed food items?
Although cash donations are the easiest and most efficient way to donate, we appreciate each and every food donation as well. Our Most Needed Items are meat and protein, complete meals, and grains.
