The COVID-19 Emergency Financial Relief Program was created to provide financial assistance to Hardee County residents who are experiencing a financial setback due to loss of their job, significant loss of hours, or have an increased financial burden as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Priority will be given to households that do not qualify for federal and state assistance. 

2 Ways to Apply:

  • Pick up an application at 713 E. Bay Street, Wauchula, FL 33873, or

  • Submit the on-line application shown on this page. 

What You'll Need:

  • Photo Identification

  • Social Security Cards for all Household Members

  • Birth Certificates for Children

  • Bank Statement for last 30 Days

  • Lease

  • Utility Bill

  • Reemployment Assistance Verification

  • Loss of Job or Hours (Employer's Contact Information)

  • Most Recent IRS Return

Our Client Welcome Center is limited to 2 people at a time, we are available by phone and email. Appointments will be scheduled on a case-by-case basis, until further notice.
